Dear Friends, Family, and People that I may not even know yet:
My name is Cheryl and I am gearing up for my 4th big Harley trip in my lifetime.
My Harley trips began in 2003 after taking the Michigan motorcycle safety class on Memorial Weekend May 2003.
My first Harley was a 2003 Sportster.
By the summer of 2003, I realized that my love for riding Harley's would lead to a bigger bike to go on long road trips. In particular, I needed to make it to the 2003 Harley Anniversary bash in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in Summer 2003. It turned out to be an experience that I will never forget!!!
July 2003, I trekked down to Bald Eagle Harley in Marquette, Michigan and purchased an Anniversary Edition of the Harley V-Rod 2003. I still own that bike and its now located in Cary, Illinois waiting for me to pick it up on July 20, 2007 (one hour from downtown Chicago).
My V-Rod has spent 2 years (from May 2005 to June 2007) on the West Coast to ride in Southern California and Las Vegas.
In May 2005 (my anniversary Harley purchasing month) , I purchased my first big Harley called a Road King. The 2005 Road King had its big debut with its new "beach handle bars" to Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park in Summer of 2006.
This year in May of 2007 (again my anniversary for new Harley purchases) , I obtained a new Harley Ultra Classic with tour pack, 4 speaker surround sound with Harmon Kardon speakers, cruise control, weather channel, CB, one disc CD player, AM/FM radio, I-Pod connectivity, etc. Unfortunately, to finance this new purchase I had to trade in my 2005 Road King. Very sad to see it go.
In preparation for the 2007 Ultra Classic debut on the big road trip, it is being equipped next week with the following: a XM satellite radio system, Harley GPS system which talks to me while I ride (more on that later), touring case luggage rack, highway pegs for stretching my legs while I ride, and waterproof cover etc.
My 2007 road trip will be starting on August 3, 2007 to August 15, 2007 to the final destination of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
I started this blog under the guidance of my friend Isabelle Edgell who is blogging with her significant other, Wayne. She is on a sail boat to cruise the warm waters of the Caribbean for the rest of her life. She taught me how to get this free blogging site and its great!!
My final destination will be at a luxurious Jackson Hole Resort with a Spa and Golf Package.
Total mileage from Ishpeming, Michigan to Jackson Hole, Wyoming will be approximately 2000 miles one way( including miles at stops around the towns of Sturgis, South Dakota and Gillette, Wyoming) where I will meet friends.
I recently ordered a new Canon movie camera that is DVD ready so I won't have to pay to transfer mini tapes to DVD, as I did in the past (gave that movie camera to my sister and father to take movies of baby Alexandra). The movie camera will also take still pictures with 35x optical zoom. Therefore, I hope it will provide you with great pictures posted on this blog site in August 2007.
This will be my best Harley trip in my riding life. The reason being that I will have music as I ride without pain from the ear plugs in my ear with a helmet on top. Ouch after 200 miles. I will be able to hear the music very clearly on the 4 speaker surround system as long as I drive under 80 miles per hour (most speed limits. Smile).
For those of you who know me, you know that I LOVE MUSIC!!!!
Feel free to send me any good CDs for a road trip to:

For now signing out.
Love You All.
